We went through Port Gamble on the first day and found the little old till in the local store which was also bizarrely a museum of the area and a storehouse of a phenomenal amount of shells from around the pacific ocean. Then we stayed the night in Port Townsend in a place called the Pacific Inn Motel, not too shabby, and the Mexican that night was not too bad either. The mountains and the boat were taken from just outside our motel window!
